What it is
A restoration is the middle ground between repairing and replacing. If the roof is structurally sound but looks tired and the pointing is failing, a proper clean, re-point and re-coat can add years to it and lift the whole look of the house — without the cost of a full re-roof.

What's involved
- 01The roof is cleaned back to a sound surface and the gutters are cleared of the debris that comes off
- 02Ridge caps are re-bedded and re-pointed with a flexible pointing that moves with the roof instead of cracking
- 03Broken and slipped tiles are replaced as part of the job
- 04Where a coating is applied, the roof is prepared and coated properly so it lasts
